Agreement
These terms apply when you download, evaluate, purchase, activate, or use FECForge. By completing a purchase or using the software, you confirm that you can accept these terms for yourself or the venue or organization you represent.
Trials and purchases
A fresh FECForge installation may include time-limited trial access to available modules. A purchase is a one-time charge in U.S. dollars for the specific module or bundle shown at checkout. Taxes may be added when required. Purchases do not include modules released in the future unless they are expressly listed at checkout.
FECForge is currently beta software. Features and workflows may change as testing continues. Limited-time beta pricing applies only to purchases completed while the promotion is displayed at checkout; purchased module access remains permanent under these terms.
Per-site license
After successful payment, FECForge grants the license holder a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the purchased modules for one Family Entertainment Center site, venue, or operating location. A site license allows one FECForge server installation for that licensed site. Authorized users may access that server from supported devices across the venue. A separate license is required for each additional site unless FECForge agrees otherwise in writing.
You are responsible for keeping the license key and administrative credentials secure. Contact support when replacing hardware or when a legitimate installation needs to be deactivated.
Adding modules and receiving updates
Additional modules may be purchased later and attached to the existing site license. You do not need to deactivate already-owned modules to add another. The license includes access to ordinary software updates made available for the purchased modules. It does not promise a specific feature, release schedule, hosting service, third-party integration, or future module.
Permitted use
You may install and operate FECForge for the licensed site and make reasonable backups for recovery. You may not resell, sublicense, share, publish, distribute, or commercially host the software or license key for another party; bypass license or access controls; falsely represent an installation as part of the licensed site; or use FECForge in violation of law.
Your systems and data
FECForge is self-hosted software. You are responsible for the computers, network, printers, displays, backups, security, user access, legal compliance, and third-party systems used with your installation. You retain responsibility for the accuracy of operational, payroll, financial, safety, and personnel records entered into the software. FECForge is an operational aid and is not legal, tax, accounting, payroll, or safety advice.
Availability and third-party services
Some functions depend on internet access, the FECForge licensing service, Stripe, device platforms, or other third-party services. We work to keep supported services available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device, browser, operating system, point-of-sale system, or third-party service.
Support, defects, and refunds
Report support issues to support@fecforge.com with enough detail to identify the license and reproduce the problem. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend a license when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, a chargeback, security abuse, or a material violation of these terms. We will restore access if the issue is resolved. The license ends if the purchase is refunded or reversed, or if the license holder materially violates these terms and does not correct the violation after notice when correction is possible.
Software warranty and responsibility
Except for rights that cannot legally be excluded, FECForge is provided as available without a promise that every function will be error-free or fit every venue’s workflow. To the extent permitted by law, FECForge is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer or statutory rights.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future purchases or software versions. A material change will be posted here with a new effective date and will not retroactively remove a permanent license already paid for and used in compliance with the terms. Questions may be sent to support@fecforge.com.
